Em 2005, a banda 3 Doors Down lançou um DVD ao vivo intitulado Away from the Sun: Live from Houston, Texas. O DVD foi produzido e dirigido pelo nomeado Alex Gibney e Doug Biro. São sons do The Better Life e Away from the Sun juntos, e algumas esquetes de "It's Not Me" e "Father's Son", que juntas foram eventualmente lançadas no Seventeen Days.
